Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt – Around the City and Library Trail

June 8 – June 30, 2026

Join us for a scavenger hunt of dinosaurs, which can be found on the library trail and at downtown Hayward businesses.

Posters of dinosaurs will be on display at business doors or windows visible from the sidewalk.
Dinosaurs will also be along the Library Nature Trail.
To participate, pick up a form at the library or on our website.
When you find a dinosaur, check its number and write the name of the location/business of where you found it on the same number on the form.
You must find at least 8 out of 10 dinosaurs to be eligible to win.
Submit your forms by 4 pm on June 30, 2026, for a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to Anglers Bar and Grill. Winners need not be present and will be notified by phone before the end of July 2026.
