Free Snowshoe @ the Library

Join Emily Stone as your guide for this easy snowshoe adventure on the Hayward Library Nature Park Trail. Learn about winter tree ID, animal tracking, birds, and anything else you’re curious about! Staff from the Library and Landmark Conservancy will share the story of how these 16 acres were protected in perpetuity and about land protection efforts in the greater area. In the case of insufficient snow, this will be a winter hike. Meet at 10:30 a.m. in front of the library. Finish by 12:00 p.m. Dress for the weather. Free, but registration required. Limited to 15 people. Reserve your snowshoes during registration. Register by February 7 at https://landmarkwi.org/event/

Event sponsored by: Landmark Conservancy, Sherman & Ruth Weiss Community Library and Cable Natural History Museum
