The Sherman & Ruth Weiss Community Library is happy to announce that we will be open on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm starting on March 12, 2022. We appreciate everyone being patient with us during these times when we were unable to be open on Saturdays, first due to reduced hours from COVID, then because we were short-staffed. We are all glad that things are beginning to get back to “normal”. Along with that you can now also return your books inside of the library when we’re open instead of having to return them in the drop outside of the library.
Since March 2020 because of our reduced hours during the worst part of COVID, the library has been fine free for all overdue items. Starting on March 14, 2022 we will reinstate overdue fines for items (25 cents per day per item for books, audiobooks, and magazines and $1 for DVD and BlueRays). Fines will not go above the cost of the item.
