The library’s Classic Movie of the Month series continues on July 8 at 10:00 a.m. with Creature From the Black Lagoon (1954). The movie is an American black-and-white 3D monster horror film produced by William All and and directed by Jack Arnold, from a screenplay by Harry Essex and Arthur Ross and a story by Maurice Zimm. It stars Richard Carlson, Julia Adams, Richard Denning, Antonio Moreno, Nestor Paiva, and Whit Bissell. The series is held on the second Wednesday of each month, with free popcorn provided courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
